In May 2019 we took on a bigger project to prepare a garden for the “Sow and Grow” project at The Friends of Ledbury Children’s Centre.

Seven employees of the Helping Hand spent the day planting planters, digging out and planting a vegetable patch, mowing the grass and pressure washing the children’s play equipment.  Towards the end of the day some of the children who attend the centre joined in with some of the planting.

In the order to help another charity, some of the plants were purchased from the local St Michaels Hospice Plant Sale.  The Helping Hand employees thoroughly enjoyed the day and said that it was a very rewarding experience.

The Chair of Friends of Ledbury Children’s Centre sent a letter of thanks saying that the team were a pleasure to work with and an absolute credit to The Helping Hand Company.
