Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled)

Hours: 8:00am – 5pm Monday – Thursday
8:00am – 4pm Friday

As The Company grows with higher volumes and more products, delivery every time (OTIF), On Time and to the Highest Quality is a must.  Reliability of equipment and preventive maintenance are fundamental in being able to achieve this.

THE POSITION

 We are looking an individual to be responsible for all maintenance of machinery, equipment and infrastructure in our Hereford site.  This includes taking a lead role in all aspects of fixing breakdowns, driving preventive maintenance routines and sourcing and managing 3rd party contractors as necessary.

This is a permanent position.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

An experienced engineer used to fixing problems with equipment, whether electrical, mechanical or both.  You will have excellent mechanical and electrical fault find and repair skills. If you have 17th or 18th edition this would be advantageous.

An individual driven by preventing reoccurrence of issues with an ability for automating labour intensive repetitive production tasks. Proactive and dynamic approach to safety. Must be flexible towards working hours.

Good attention to detail, highly organized, a quick learner who is able to manage changing priorities.  Computer literate (ideally with CAD skills), thrives on problem solving and willing to go the extra mile. Having NEBOSH certification, Lean Manufacturing, Risk Assessment, Internal Auditing skills and experience would be an advantage.
