As the Medical Device Directive changes to the Medical Device Regulations (MDR) it is imperative that our products & processes across the company meet the requirements of MDR and ISO13485.

We are looking for an individual to help ensure that the Helping Hand Hereford site adheres with the ISO9001 Quality Management System and supports the implementation of ISO13485 and FDA quality system regulation requirements throughout the business, in particular working with the team in Hereford. To help develop standardized ways of working throughout the manufacturing areas and ensuring there is robust documentation to support this. Review all internal and external quality issues and ensure a robust root cause and corrective action is in place to prevent reoccurrence.

The Ideal Candidate

  • An experienced, Manufacturing Quality Engineer who has experience of maintaining processes and procedures to comply with ISO9001
  • Has an ISO 13485 Lead Auditor qualification or equivalent is preferred
  • Has experience on working in a manufacturing environment with multiple processes in fast moving environment
  • Experience of problem solving and root cause analysis and can demonstrate the use of these tools
  • A pragmatic individual who understands the primary focus of the business is to help clients whilst being profitable, utilising simple processes and documentation to achieve this
  • A team player, able to influence people at all levels
